Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Lincoln University of Missouri
Responsibilities:
Full-time, nine month, tenure-track appointment beginning August 2019. Expectations include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in general and applied mathematics as well as incorporating the use of MATLAB or Mathematica in the classroom. The chosen candidate will also be expected to develop an active, externally funded research program. Lincoln University faculty are expected to advise and mentor students and serve on departmental and institutional committees. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in mathematical modeling, real analysis, and numerical analysis. Candidates with prior teaching experience will be given preference.
Qualifications:
1. PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a related area
2. Post-doctoral experience and prior teaching experience is a plus
3. Ability to work with a diverse student and faculty body is desired
