Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (RA)/JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW(JRF) to work on contract on Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), India funded research project.
Title of the Project: Adaptive numerical methods and their convergence for the efficient numerical solution of singular boundary value problems.
Essential Qualification for Research Associate (RA): Doctorate (PhD) in Mathematics.
Essential Qualification for JRF: Candidate should have First Class (C.P.I or C.G.P.A. greater than 6.75 on a 10 point scale) M.Sc/M.A. in Mathematics with GATE/ CSIR-UGC JRF/NET qualification and have sound knowledge in Numerical Analysis and programming languages such as C/C++/FORTRAN/ MATLAB.
Fellowship for RA: Rs. 36000/ + 20% HRA per month.
Fellowship for JRF: Rs. 25000/ per month + 20% HRA for first two years and Rs. 28000/ per month + 20% HRA for third year.
