Advt. No.: BHU/Math/RJP-PDF/07 Date: 31-July-2024 Re-Advertisement for 01 post of Raja Jwala Prasad Post-Doctoral Fellow. Applications are invited for One Raja Jwala Prasad Post-Doctoral Fellow (RJP-PDF) as per Qualifications mentioned below with a consolidated Fellowship of Rs. 60,000/- per month + HRA (Rs. 10,000/-) and a Contingency of Rs. 50,000/- per year funded under Institute of Eminence (IoE) Scheme of Banaras Hindu University for the duration of 12 months from the date of joining in the Fellowship Programme. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the PDF Programme and may be extended for one more year based on performance and the availability of funds under IoE. The Fellow will have access to comprehensive benefits including health services, library, and access to other resources of BHU. Essential Qualifications: The Candidate must be Ph.D. in a field related to Mathematics / Computer Science / Statistics / Mathematics and Computing or equivalent either from an Indian University / Institute with NIRF ranking up to 20 (overall or in respective areas) or from Foreign University / Institute. In addition, the Candidate must have proven track record of published research work (at least two research papers) in Q1 or Q2 Journals or SCOPUS / Web of Science listed Journals. Desirable Qualifications / Experience: Preference will be given for having sound knowledge in Discrete Mathematics, Graph Theory / Chemical Graph Theory. Strong Computer Programming skill (with MATLAB, Mathematica and Python) is also desirable. Age Limit: The upper age limit is 45 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/PH and Female candidates).
