| Message (Body of event): | Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the following position in the research project entitled “Exploring Selection Principles: Hurewicz and Menger Covering Properties and their Generalizations in Topological Spaces” sponsored by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, New Delhi, under Empowerment and Equity Opportunities for Excellence in Science (EMEQ) scheme (File No. EEQ/2023/000490) sanctioned for a duration of 03 years. Name of the Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Number of Position(s): One (1) Duration of the Position: One year (may be extended for another two years subject to the satisfactory performance of the candidate). Emoluments: Rs. 31,000 per month + 24% HRA (for first 2 years) and Rs. 35,000 per month + 24% HRA (for third year). Essential qualifications: Post-graduation in Mathematics with 55% or above marks (equivalent grade) and NET/GATE or equivalent as per specifications of the funding agency. Desirable: Proficiency in set-theoretic and general topology and good LaTeX typing skills. Upper Age limit as on the last date of application: The upper age limit for JRF is 28 years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Challenged/Female candidates and 3 years for OBC NCL). All other factors being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules. General Terms and Conditions: The position is purely temporary and is conterminous with the project.
